Thanksgiving Day Events
On Thanksgiving I got to watch what Momma calls a parade, but no commercials. Then we had our picture taken for our Christmas cards, I was a very good boy for that! Then we went to Grandma Sarah's and Grandpa David's house. I got to eat Turkey rice, Sweet potatoes and corn, and Dutch Apple dessert! I also got to sit at the head of the table while they were eating. For a picture of our Thanksgiving go to my Pictures page.

The Best Toy Ever!
So my parents got a walker for me and it is the best toy I have ever played with. It has a big bird and a cookie monster toy, and it has an elmo that spins in the middle, and there's a mirror with a baby in it that looks just like me. It lights up and makes music and it has buttons that I hit and it says "Yay!"

My First Babysitter
Well, my Daddy didn't want to take me and Momma just couldn't stay. Uncle Collin didn't want me and my aunt wasn't feeling good anyway. So momma called some people and Teressa said ok, so I spent the evening with her, cause she needed someone to play.

The Crazy Week
On Saturday, October 21 momma and I flew to Kentucky to see her family. She said that my great-nana had died, and we went to comfort people. Then we came back home a few days later. After that my Gran and Granddad came on a plane to visit me for about a week. They even stayed in my room! I took them all sorts of places like the Grand Canyon (cause they'd never been, can you believe that? Even I've been there!) and then to the Zoo. I was quite the tour guide. They were very impressed. On the day they went back home momma took me trick-or-treating to a few people's houses. I really liked looking at those colorful bags of candy. They make the best rattles!

Hey Mikey, He Likes It!
So I tried cereal and it's not too bad. I'm really getting the hang of it now, sometimes I'll eat a whole bowl without getting messy. The other day I tried banana for the first time, and boy was that yummy! This food stuff is pretty good.

Older and Wiser?
I am now four months old. I have more than doubled my birth weight, which puts me at 12 lbs. 12 oz and I'm now 26 inches long. The Doctors have given the go ahead to my mom to start me on cereal. That sounds good to me!

Going Camping
For Labor Day, we went to the hill country to go camping with several families from our church. Momma was anxious about how I would do in sleeping ALL THE WAY through the night, but I was good and slept the whole night! I just loved camping. It was so much fun being outdoors all the time! There was always something to look at. It was great! I had my first laugh while we were camping. Momma and Daddy were so excited.

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'!
These days I'm enamored with the task of rolling over. I can very easily roll from my back to my side, and back to my back. For some reason my momma keeps trying to get me to flip from my belly to my back but my arms aren't yet strong enough. Daddy and I have fun times together. He tells me about his day, and then I tell him about my day. He plays with me and sometimes gives me a bottle or a bath. I love my daddy...especially when he shaves. I don't like his scruffy face. I'm getting pretty big, and momma is getting sad because I'm growing out of some of her favorite clothes (that I wear). But hey, it's gotta be done someday!
